The Red Demons boys soccer fell short in Friday’s  final four match up against Olathe South.

Mario Martinez, 12, put the Demons ahead early on  by scoring in the beginning of the half. However Olathe Sout contested by putting two behind the net causing the Demons to trail by one at the end of the first half.

Coming into the second half, Omar Estrada, 12,  scored the second goal for the Demons, tying up the game 2-2.

With less than three minutes left of the game, Olathe South scored the final goal ending the game 3-2. This loss pushed the Demons to compete for third place.

The boys faced Manhattan, where they lost, 3-0.

Overall the Red Demons got fourth place at the State-Soccer tournament.
